Hi, I am Dr. Johanna Davies.
I am a physician, mum, coach, and writer. I am interested in exploring life´s breaks and how to face adversity and chaos with calm. (something I have had a lot of practice in in both my work and personal life.)

I combine my experience of close to 10 years working in acute medicine an an anaesthetist and remaining calm under pressure with a creative and highly sensitive approach to coaching*. This creates a unique supportive blend where you have a partner for going deep and understanding yourself better- but also mentorship and advice when needed.
When we work together, you get a gentle space to pour your heart out, explore blind spots and reflect. And when you get stuck, I will offer deeply calm guidance and tools to access that calm yourself.
Coaching is offered in monthly cycles. Accomodating busy lifes and tight schedules, one monthly 100min zoom call is combined with weekly coaching via voice message or mail. I truly love crafting these messages to my clients.
If you are a reflected and sensitive individual in a messy inbetween stage in life, been through some tough things and are looking to ground yourself, we could be a good fit. This isnt therapy (or medical treatment/advice), but it isnt performance coaching either. Coaching is 800NZD for an intensive one-month container and 450NZD/month from 3 months onwards.

I am able to accomodate kiwi residents via a weekday afternoon slot at 4.15 pm your time, and on weekends (5-7pm).
Lastly, theres the midnight post office. A special service that I have created to support people who have lost something. This is how it works: write a letter (under A4) to post@drjohannadavies.com. Write about whats hard, anything thats on your mind and soul. Loss can be tangible, or intangible: you can write about fertility issues and pregnancy loss (something I know all too well), loss of sleep, a partner, joy in gardening, connection to a friend, a sense of home, health, a vision of what you thought your life might be like, a toy. Letters and drawings by small people are welcome. You can currently expect a reply within a week. It´s free!
